I am going to summarize the rest of my Perth trip in days, seeing as I was too lazy and didn't blog the past few days.
Friday
Slept in til 11 something, then got ready to go out when Lauren got home from work.
Went to IKEA, which was a lot of fun! I always love going there, even if I don't buy anything. It's just the experience, it smells and looks like Sweden, no matter where I am in the world. I love the decor and it's always good to stock up on Swedish food when we go there. It's like my home away from home :) Lauren and I ate lunch (I had a prawn salad, then coffee and a bulle whose authenticity I was very disappointed in. The other two passed the authenticity test however. Lauren had Swedish meatballs with sauce and jam like a good ikea-goer.) then roamed around the store, trying out the beds and couches, falling in love with the display rooms, stalking potential Swedes to hear if they were speaking Swedish, and generally mucking around. All I bought in the end was a packet of lollies for my sister's birthday. That is the least I have EVER spent at ikea, I assure you haha. Then we ate hot jam donuts.
The traffic on the way home was terrible. We passed the time by putting the music on full volume, winding the windows down and basically screaming the songs and having a rave in the car. That was fun. We got some funny looks from other drivers.
Visited my friend Rhett in his new house in Perth and all chilled with his house mates. It was so good to catch up with him. Then I came home and we had Subway for dinner. Then I went out clubbing with Chloe! It was so much fun, first time I'd been. I wore a sheer black shirt over a black singlet, a high waisted leather skirt, the ribbed black stockings, and 12cm heels with my leather jacket and new gold and black purse, green earrings and turquoise ring. I straightened my hair and did black winged eyeliner with red lips. We went to Air, Mint, and Paramount. Danced like crazy, made some new friends, ran away from boys that seemed too eager to dance with us, I fell off a platform whilst dancing at Paramount (it was hilarious), drank amazing coconut cocktails that I told the bartender to surprise us with, generally had a lot of fun. I only had the one drink, proof that you don't need to be drunk to party! Stayed the night at Chloe's and headed back to Lauren's the next morning.
