Tuesday

This morning I was planning to meet the amazing miss Madeleine Salter for early morning coffee, but I overslept and missed it :( She's a lot like me and we are planning on taking over Moscow some time together next year which will be incredibly fun. Haven't seen her since last year, so I'm a bit upset for missing this morning. Because of that I started my day in a very grumpy and upset manner, but luckily a few good things happened which cheered me up.

I did a bit of reorganizing and redecorating in my bedroom in the morning. Later I went out into town with Maman to run a few errands. We bought the things needed to dye my hair and afterwards went to a cafe, where we had rose turkish delight and coffee and talked about life.

On the way home I bought a delicious strawberry lamington from the bakery, which I ate when I came home with even more turkish delight and Moroccan spice tea. I've become addicted to it recently, and am sipping a mug as I type. GO BUY SOME NOW, it's amazing. And it comes in cute triangle bags <3

This afternoon I had one of those moments where you reflect on life. I sat down, grabbed a notebook and pen and did some thinking. I wrote down exactly where I want to be in 2 years, where I am now, and how I'm going to get there. I've been feeling a bit directionless and purposeless lately, so this helped me a lot! I actually feel slightly motivated now haha.

And this evening I dyed my hair! I wanted to go back to as close to natural colour as possible and with help from the sales assistant bought all the products and received instructions. But no, my hair had ideas of its own. I was meant to become dark blonde/light brunette but instead turned out strawberry brunette! (So much strawberriness today haha) But I don't really care as it looks good anyway, and it's something completely different that I've never had! Long live spontaneity ;)

I look so different, but I like it. Time for a change I think it was. I'm still going to fix it up a bit tomorrow so it's less red brassy and deeper brown, but quite happy with it. Haha everyone will have a shock at school on Thursday!
